A slightly surreal night last night. Late night ten-pin bowling, followed by staying up all night chatting and then wander across town to give the local monks alms at dawn. If it wasn't for the fact that the whole thing has turned into a bit of a ridiculous photo opp, I think I would have felt slightly sheepish at being drunk as I handed over my bananas and sticky rice!

Having a great time reading all about your trip. Yes, its still snowing here. Two boys up the Castle had put trays under the back wheels of their car and sliding down the road without engine and weaving from side to side - not very bright. Poppy just loves the snow and rolls over and over. Like to catch snowballs. More snow threatened - just in time for me to leave. Love Barbara X
